Infrastructure Facilities
Most of our laboratories are equipped with latest Instruments and facilities which have become the envy of universities and organizations in the region. We have modern well-equipped laboratories with all the latest equipments for practicals including 2-D Western Blotting apparatus, Growth Chamber, Thermal Cycler, CO2 incubator, Microplate reader, Fluorescent Microscope, Fume Hood, In situ Fermenter system, High Speed Cooling Centrifuge, Deep Freezer, Ice Flaking Machine, Flame Photometer, Variable Temperature Incubator Shaker, HPCL, Gas Chromatography (GC), Fourier Transformation Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), UV-Visible Spectrophotometers, protein and DNA gel electrophoresis and research quality microscopes.
Computing Facility
The college has one of the best computing facilities in the region for the students and faculty. The college has a fully integrated campus-wide computer network which gives access to subject information service, the internet, e-mail and a wide range of software applications. There are two Computer Labs in biosciences with over 60 desktop computers, IBM-x Series Server, HP workstation, latest required Bioinformatics software like Discovery Studio 2.1, Acceryls GCG, Exome-ED, AutoDock, Modeller 9v2, PAUP* 4.0, SPSS, SysStat and free 24 hour Broadband Internet Facility. Over 350 computers across the campus are meant exclusively for the student use giving comprehensive IT support in the wide range of courses that we offer. Besides that a centralized Digital Library equipped with Wi-Fi Internet facility has also been set up for the students and staff, so that they may access and browse the latest information.
Library Facility
Our mission is to inspire students to learn and this is achieved by providing students with the wide range of resources and services in the library. There is central library possessing over 61,000 books with nearly 15,000 on science subjects. Besides it, the library subscribes to Science Journals/Magazines relevant to the field. More than 5000 books worth over Rs. 20 lakh were added to the college library during the last session. A comprehensive catalogue of books is contained in the separate volume available with the library. Other library resources include:

Orientation sessions to apprise students of the layout of the open shelf library of the college were also organized every year in the beginning of the session.
